Set team away days

Team away days are needed to allow time for the team to develop a system that works for your service and manage the change. Use team days focused on implementation to:

You can use any of the team Workshop ideas in this book. As you may have read earlier in this book we recommend having at least 4 team away days each year (Richmond has 6!). To implement CAPA you may need more.

So the CAPA leadership team could initially decide when these days and the extra ones could be and take these dates to the team meeting. For this process it might be helpful if the leadership team set some of the content, for example to discuss Choice and do the workshop ideas around this, setting time for anxieties to be discussed. Finally allow the team to choose some of the content for themselves.
